Driven by an early interest in art, Nina Sharafina pursued her undergraduate education at the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, Department of Visual Communication Design at the Bandung Institute of Technology. Her curiosity about understanding holistic branding beyond visual elements prompted Nina to further her education with a Master's in Visual Brand Design from Domus Academy in Milan, Italy.

After completing her studies in Milan, Nina began her professional career at Landor Associates (Milan office) and VICE Media Group (Asia Pacific office) upon returning to Indonesia. Her experiences on local and multinational scales shaped Nina as a reliable designer individually and as a cooperative team member open to continuous learning and new challenges.
